Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT and X-Ray performing both outpatient and emergency department exams.

Details

• Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and Emergency Department settings
• 4x9 hour day shifts, 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
• May be asked to float to other Cone Health campuses on occasion
• Performs CT exams including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Performs X-Ray exams including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies
• Performs ED and outpatient CT and X-Ray exams including cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT, cardiac calcium scores) and perfusion studies
• Uses PACS and Siemens equipment, with portables
• Requires starting approximately 8-9 IVs per day
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED experience required
• Experience with PACS, Siemens, and portable equipment required
• Samsung X-Ray experience preferred
• Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must be skilled in contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, venipuncture, and ROI measurement
• Must be able to perform image display and post-processing tasks

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of CT and X-Ray diagnostic procedures across outpatient and emergency settings
• Must be able to pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
