Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure, Epic experience, and ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications.
Details
- Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification from an approved vendor required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum three years of recent experience in the ER specialty, within the last three months
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
- Develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and promote a safe healing environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers on care delivery and education
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction, and local rates match travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- All required vaccinations must be up to date per facility policy
