Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a day shift acute care position requiring EPIC experience and current RN licensure.
Details
- Acute care Med/Surg unit setting
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week), 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license in state of practice required
- BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and develop care plans
- Implement care plans, evaluate patient progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Provide patient and family education throughout the care process
- Holiday RTO requests will not be approved
