Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience and NY state licensure.

Details

Acute care Emergency Department setting with 15 beds, including 10 acute care beds
RN will cover all patient types as the ED experiences lower patient volume
12-hour night shifts on a 7-7 schedule
Weekends and holidays required as needed
Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

Active RN license, currently licensed and registered in NY State
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
1 year of medical-surgical experience required
Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience is mandatory
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred but not required
Strong multitasking skills and ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

Provide emergency care across a varied patient population in a lower-volume ED setting
Covid vaccination preferred, with exemptions accepted
