Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care setting, offering an 8-hour day shift schedule with no call requirements.

Acute care setting within the Physical Therapy unit
8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
No call required and weekends not required
Potential to work holidays
Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

Current BLS-AHA certification required
MN state PT license required (license required if applicable)
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
Valid driver's license may be required when applicable

Additional Information

Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities
Documents patient information for evaluation and analyzes therapeutic progress, recommending adjustments as needed
Educates patients and family members on treatment plans and home exercise programs
Must follow departmental documentation guidelines and all regulatory requirements
All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
Local candidates may be accepted within an 80-mile radius of the facility
Candidates who previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
