Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and 2+ years of ICU experience.
Details
- Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
- May be asked to float to a different floor or to the facility's other campus
- Altera charting experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or compact) required in hand at time of consideration
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Travel experience preferred
Additional Information
- Deliver direct, individualized nursing care based on the nursing process and scientific nursing principles
- Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to ensure effective patient care and achieve desired outcomes
- Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
- Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival
- Clinicians must complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer or have a plan in place for timely completion
- Must reside 150 miles or more from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Previous permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- RTO may be accommodated if the traveler can work full hours around the requested time off, missing no more than 1-2 shifts
