Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Endoscopy RN requiring 2 years of endo RN experience and Epic proficiency for a facility in Louisville, KY.
Details
- Work in the Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting
- Shift hours 7a-530p, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Call requirement of 1 weekend plus 5 days (including one Monday and one Friday) within a 10-week period
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
- Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members and functions as a mentor/preceptor
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patient/family to coordinate care
- Facilitates patient and family education throughout treatment and at discharge
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
- Follows a Practice Governance framework and complies with regulatory standards
