Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with 2+ years of healthcare experience and RCIS, ARRT (VI), or RTRCI certification for a cardiac cath lab assignment.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- 3x12 hour day shifts from 0700 to 1730
- Call required every 4th weekend plus 4-5 additional week night shifts within the same 4-week period
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare setting
- Current BLS required
- One of the following required: RCIS, ARRT (VI), or RTRCI (license required if applicable)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Additional Information
- Assist in preparing patients and procedure rooms for cath lab procedures
- Scrub procedures and monitor/record hemodynamic pressures
- Address health education needs for patients, families, and other healthcare providers
- Manage patient care assignments and organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations
- Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions
