Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring a KY or compact RN license and two years of EPIC experience.
Details
- Surgical Services unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 06:30-17:00
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification required
- Two years of acute care RN experience required
- Two years of EPIC EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
- Supervises and delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Serves as a mentor/preceptor and promotes teamwork among the care team
- Facilitates patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
- Complies with regulatory standards and the organization's Practice Governance model
