Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Ortho IMC position requiring CO or compact RN license and 2+ years of mixed acuity experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Ortho stepdown unit of a hospital setting
• Mixed acuity patient population with Med/Ortho/Stepdown care needs
• Night shift schedule: 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend work required
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license - Single State or CO Compact required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required, must not expire prior to start
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of mixed acuity Med/Ortho/Stepdown nursing experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
