Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE equipment proficiency for a community hospital setting.

Details

• Community hospital setting supporting adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Approximately 39-40 hours per week on a blocked overnight schedule
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Utilizes GE CT equipment and PACS system
• Uses Meditech charting system

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required (License required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Skilled in image display and post processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• 1 supervisory reference within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must not live within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• PA fingerprinting and ChildLine clearance must be completed promptly after contract signing due to strict credentialing timelines
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
• Previous permanent or per diem employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler
