Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3-5 years of recent ED experience in an acute care hospital and current CA RN license.
Details
- 36-bed Emergency Department in an acute care hospital
- Designated Stroke and STEMI center
- Patient ratios of 4:1, with critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1
- Uses Phillips equipment and Meditech EMR
- Shift runs 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Work every other weekend
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- 3-5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Prior travel/interim experience working in CA preferred
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in area of placement required for this region
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Deliver emergency nursing care within a stroke and STEMI center
- Team player personality is a strong fit for this unit
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
