Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 12-hour night shift travel assignment requiring prior travel nursing experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule runs 7p-7:30a with every other weekend and holiday required
• No block scheduling allowed
• Deferred schedule type with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license (current or conditional), verified via recent NURSYS report showing all past and present licenses
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
• Acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 recent manager/supervisor references in a matching specialty required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide emergency department nursing care in a hospital setting
• Must work every other major holiday
• Scrubs of any color permitted
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and is not guaranteed after confirmation
• Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted at a reduced local rate
