Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift clinic role requiring CNMT certification and 1+ years of experience in nuclear cardiology.
Details
- Clinic setting specializing in neuro and cardiac nuclear medicine
- Adult patient population
- Procedures include brain scans, cerebral blood flow studies, myocardial perfusion imaging, exercise/rest stress tests (single and multiple), and pharmacological stress testing
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 5x8 day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- No weekends required
- No call required unless desired
- May be expected to float between sister facilities
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required
- CNMT and BLS certification required
- WA State License required (if applicable)
- PET certification preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Experience with shunt and abdominal imaging required; ventricular imaging experience preferred
- Must be able to work independently
- Knowledge of DaTscans and cardiac imaging helpful
- Must follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted
- Perform nuclear cardiology and neuro imaging studies independently
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All time-off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
- Local candidates accepted, though a 50-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility
- Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months before qualifying for this position, and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
