Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1-2 years of experience for a 12-hour night shift position treating adult respiratory/cardiac and ortho patients.

Details

  • Respiratory Therapy unit treating adult patients with respiratory/cardiac and orthopedic conditions
  • 12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, every other weekend rotation
  • 36 hours per week over a 14-week assignment
  • Floating required to ICU, ED, and floor units, including MS, TELE, DOU, PSYCH, and NICU if applicable
  • Call and holiday coverage required

Requirements

  • Active RRT certification through NBRC or equivalent certifying body
  • BLS certification required
  • 1-2 years of experience required
  • EPIC experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • NRP certification highly desired
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • No holiday time off can be accommodated and all time off requests must be submitted at time of application
  • Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a lower bill rate
  • May be required to work additional hours as part of the unit's rotation pool on an as-needed basis
  • May be floated or reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility within 30 miles of the originally assigned facility, within clinical competence
