Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Stepdown/IMCU position requiring 2+ years of acute care experience and proficiency in critical drip and ventilator management.
Details
- IMCU stepdown unit serving as a bridge between PCU and ICU in an acute care hospital setting
- Patient population includes vented patients and those on critical drips
- Patient ratio of 3:1
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
- 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Uses MEDITECH EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA state or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BSN not required
- Proficiency in medication management required
Additional Information
- Provide care for critically ill stepdown patients including ventilator and medication management
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for placement
- Not eligible for placement if previously employed by the facility within the last 12 months
