Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to lead the implementation of a new PET/CT service line, requiring 3+ years of management experience and 3+ years of PET/CT experience.

Details

Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
No weekend, holiday, floating, or on-call requirements
26-week contract length
Will transition from a consultant role to a management role with 1 direct report once the PET/CT unit is implemented
Responsible for scanning patients as a Nuc Med Tech and PET/CT Tech
Oversees implementation of PET/CT program for cardiac and oncology scans

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a management role
3+ years of experience in PET/CT, either as a technologist or in a leadership capacity
BLS certification required
NMT certification required
License required if applicable
New graduates will not be considered
Knowledge of PET/CT rules and regulations required
Experience with hot-lab procedures and USP 825 standards required

Additional Information

Will lead the implementation of a new PET/CT service line for the facility
Responsible for managing hot-lab procedures in compliance with USP 825 standards
Vehicle for transportation recommended due to winter walking conditions
Fingerprints must be mailed to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
Candidates must reside 50+ miles outside of Fairbanks to qualify for housing or housing allowance options
Up to 14 days of RTO may be requested, including a maximum of 4 weekend shifts, and must be requested at time of consideration
