Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and a WA license.

Details

• Critical access hospital with 23 total staff beds
• CT and X-ray duties required
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend night shifts required Friday through Sunday, possibly every other Thursday to meet department needs
• Block schedule required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating between units
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Siemens CT equipment with PACS imaging

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• ARRT-CT preferred; if not held, must have CT experience
• ARRT-R, BLS, and WA state license required
• License required if applicable
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal imaging with and without contrast
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, venipuncture, and peripheral IV starts preferred
• Proficiency with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Must be able to work in adult acute care and emergency department settings

Additional Information

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging across abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest studies
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
• Scrub color is unrestricted for RN/Allied staff
• No parking fee at this facility
• First-time travelers considered with relevant CT experience
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month break, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Two supervisory references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
