Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and WA state licensure.

Details

• Critical access hospital setting with 23 staff beds
• CT and X-ray coverage required
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend night shifts required (Friday-Sunday) with possible every other Thursday to meet department needs
• Block scheduling required
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Uses Epic for charting and Siemens/PACS for imaging equipment
• No floating between units and no on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year CT experience required
• ARRT-CT certification highly preferred; if not held, equivalent CT experience required
• ARRT-R, BLS, and WA state license required
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis CT with and without contrast, head and neck imaging, spine and musculoskeletal imaging, and chest CT
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Peripheral IV starts and venipuncture skills preferred
• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement

• First-time travelers considered with relevant CT experience
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Scrub color is any color for RN/Allied staff
• No parking fees at the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
• Former Providence staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
