Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong OR and orthopedic experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level III trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Operating Room unit in an acute care, teaching hospital with Level III trauma designation
• Day shift (5x8, 6:45a-2:45p) or Evening shift (5x8, 2:45p-11:15p) schedules available
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Floating required within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
• Open to block scheduling arrangements
• Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR system

Requirements

• Active or pending MN RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, with strong OR experience
• Ortho experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided
• Candidates must have been gone at least 3 months from any prior permanent staff or per diem role at the facility to be eligible
• RTO should be no more than 5 days ideally
• Local candidates accepted with a 100 mile radius restriction
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Pending license candidates will be accepted
