Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care facility requiring 3+ years X-ray and 2+ years CT experience along with ARRT certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within the Rad/CT Tech unit
- Performs both General Radiology and CT procedures
- Uses GE Optima 64 slice CT scanner and Konica X-ray room
- Utilizes EPIC/Sectra charting system
- Night shift schedule of three 13-hour shifts Monday-Wednesday, 5:30pm-7am
- Call rotation includes one Thursday night per month and one weekend per month (occasionally two)
- Technologist works alone during shifts
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT license required (license required if applicable); Registered in (R)(CT) preferred, but experienced CT technologists without CT registry will be considered
- Minimum 3 years of X-ray experience
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- Experience with GE scanners required
- EPIC/Sectra charting experience required
- Must be able to perform CTs and X-rays independently
- Must be able to handle trauma cases
Additional Information
- Responsible for completing paperwork and morning QA
- Will receive orientation to facility protocols, equipment, and computer systems
- Facility sees a significant volume of trauma despite being a smaller site
- Gray scrubs required
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Radiology badge provided by the agency
- Candidates who previously worked at this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
