Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment on a blended Med-Surg/Swing Bed/PCU unit requiring an active IL RN license.

Details

• Blended Medical/Surgical unit also supporting a Swing Bed Program and occasional PCU-level patients
• Patient ratios are 1:5 Med-Surg, 1:5-6 Swing Bed, and 1:3-4 PCU depending on acuity and drip status
• Assignments balanced by supervisors based on nursing workload and patient level of care
• 12-hour night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across Med-Surg, Swing Bed, and PCU patient populations
