Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry position requiring an active IN or compact RN license and 1-2 years of experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring for post-surgical orthopedic patients
• 37-bed unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Fast-paced environment with established order sets and protocols per surgeon preference
• Day shift 3A-3P with no on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching ID required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care optimizing post-surgical recovery within a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Scrub colors are black or royal blue
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
