Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Telemetry professional for a night shift position in an Acute Medical unit requiring 18 months of tele experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

Work in the 2M Acute Medical unit of a hospital setting
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
No on-call responsibilities
Required to float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, based on departmental rotation

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
BLS (AHA) certification required to start
Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience required
Experience with IV insertion and PICC lines required
Meditech charting experience required

Additional Information

Interview process includes a Nurse Manager interview
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
