Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVICU RN for a night shift position requiring PA or compact RN licensure and NIHSS certification.

Details

Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit
Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) totaling 36 hours per week
Required to work every other weekend
Floating required to other like critical care units, including Hampden Medical Center
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active RN license (PA or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Prior CVICU nursing experience required
Fingerprinting required prior to start

Additional Information

Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients
Tobacco-free campus and substance abuse/drug-free workplace policy in effect
Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a different pay rate
