Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and an AR or compact RN license.

Details

• ICU unit with 11 beds in a Level III trauma facility
• Patient ratios of 2-3:1
• Adult patient population only, no pediatric cases
• Equipment used includes ventilators, Impella, Swan-Ganz catheters, and arterial lines
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirement of 1 shift per month if census is down
• Float requirement to med-surg

Requirements

• Active RN license (AR or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, experienced ICU traveler preferred
• RN degree required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to adult ICU patients using advanced monitoring and life support equipment
• Gray scrub color required
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Permanent address must not be within 60 miles of the facility
