Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring Arkansas or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of critical care experience.
Details
- Medical ICU unit within a 32-bed acute care hospital setting
- Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
- Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Float requirements to stepdown and med surg units
- EPIC EMR used
Requirements
- Active AR or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2+ years of critical care experience required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Must pass a medication and math competency exam (90% passing grade, one retake allowed) prior to administering medications
- No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Fast-paced unit seeking upbeat and driven nurses
- Black scrub color required
- Open-toe shoes not permitted
- Up to 5 days of RTO allowed, must be made up during the assignment
- Local candidates accepted, though bill rate is reduced for those residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Subcontractor staff within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
