Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT or NMTCB certification and BLS.
Details
- Imaging/CAT Scan department setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend rotation required
- On-call requirement
- Floating to other campuses or locations may be required
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent required
- 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Basic computer experience required
- Current BLS certification via AHA required
- One of the following primary modality certifications required: Radiography (R) by ARRT, Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB, or Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB
- CT certification required upon hire in New Mexico
- State licensure required in New Mexico (CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED); license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures
- Provide support to other imaging technologists to maintain smooth and efficient patient flow
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and participate in QA and image archiving system maintenance
- Act as a PACS Superuser, following downtime procedures and escalating issues as needed
- Participate in ongoing education and maintain competencies as outlined by management
- Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts or at other campuses as needed
