Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting requiring Epic experience and a Master's degree or OTD in Occupational Therapy.
Details
- Outpatient Occupational Therapy setting within a hospital and clinic network
- Day shift, 40 hours per week (8x5 schedule)
- Epic experience required
- Floating required to other network sites as needed based on staffing and census, with one primary site
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required
- Two years of occupational therapy experience preferred
- Current Occupational Therapy license required in state of practice, if applicable
- BLS certification required from an approved vendor
- No candidates with a prior license hit will be considered
Additional Information
- Plans and conducts treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental function
- Completes evaluations and establishes individualized treatment plans using appropriate clinical techniques
- Provides therapy interventions following established treatment protocols
- Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and communicates them to appropriate parties
- Completes comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines
- Supervises assigned therapy assistants
- Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups
- Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- No radius rule applies and local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
