Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications for an evening shift position.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Evening shift, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, with 36 or 48-hour schedules
• Start times may vary between 11am, 1pm, or 3pm
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• ACLS (AHA or ARC) required
• PALS (AHA or ARC) required
• NRP or NALS (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER specialty experience required
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care plans
• Implement care plans, coordinate delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Accepts local candidates with no radius rule and local rates matching travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
