Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience and active RRT certification for a night shift hospital assignment.

- Active Illinois RT license required if applicable
- RRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Associate's degree required
Additional Information
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust plan of care within a multidisciplinary team
- Educate patients and responsible parties on respiratory disease processes, interventions, and discharge planning
- Provide respiratory care as ordered by physicians in coordination with medical and nursing staff
- Share clinical knowledge with staff and students, serving as a role model for clinical practice
- Accept reassignment to other units as needed
