Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac PCU/Stepdown position requiring cardiac drip titration experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Cardiac PCU/Stepdown unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Cath lab recovery/observation unit
- Day shift schedule, 7a-7p, every other weekend
- Uses Paragon EMR
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Cardiac drip titration experience required
- Experience pulling sheaths and monitoring sites required
- General med/surg patient knowledge required
Additional Information
- Provide care for cardiac stepdown and cath lab recovery patients
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
- Candidates may not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
- PRN employment through outside staffing firms is acceptable
