Description
American Traveler is hiring a Angio/IR RN for a Level I trauma center requiring critical care angio/IR experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.
Details
- Work in the Angiography/Interventional Radiology unit located in the Heart and Vascular Tower
- 3 angiography labs including 2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Team staffing includes Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS with ideal teams of 2 techs and 2 RNs
- Equipment used includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
- Documentation completed in EPIC Cupid
- 4x10-hour shift schedule with on-call requirements
- Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Critical care and Angio/IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care
- ICU or ER experience required
- Critical care drip/gtt management skills required
- Experience with procedures such as Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma care required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
- High acuity patient population
- Required uniform: royal blue and black scrubs for RNs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
