Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring critical care experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

  • Recovery Room/PACU unit on day shift, 3x12s, 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with flexibility required
  • 13-week assignment
  • Call requirements include one night per week from 8 PM to 7 AM and one 24-hour weekend call (Saturday or Sunday) per 6-week schedule
  • No float requirement
  • No block scheduling
  • Patient ratios range from 1:2 to 1:1
  • Provides total patient care
  • Uses Cerner-SurgiNet EMR
  • Scrubs provided

Requirements

  • Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • Minimum 1 year of recent critical care experience (PACU, ICU, or ED) required
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not considered
  • RTO requests must be less than 1 week
  • Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
