Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, requiring 2 years of experience and an IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Fast-paced Med/Surg Tele unit in a 37-bed orthopedic hospital setting
- Focus on optimizing post-surgical patients per surgeon preference
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Day shift schedule, 7A-7P
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Established order sets and protocols with a supportive team atmosphere
- Scrub colors required: black or royal blue
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
