Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Acute Care position with 12-hour varied shifts and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Requirements

Active SD or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Additional Information

Deliver and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process - assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and care teams
Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and care
Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge care
Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff, including orientation and training of new team members
Supportive, collaborative work culture with opportunities for professional growth
Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred but not required
