Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring ACLS, BLS, and at least one prior travel assignment.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
- Performs vascular studies and procedures including angioplasty and central venous access/port placement
- Day shift schedule of 4x9.5 hours, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with one rotating day off
- 36 hours per week with call required every 5th week
- Cerner charting system preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or MD) required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent IR experience required within the last 7 years
- At least one completed travel assignment required for consideration
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
- Flu vaccine required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate
- Candidates with prior employment at this health system must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler
- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
- Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
- Manager interviews are not guaranteed
