Description

American Traveler is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist with previous school-based experience to support middle school students in a collaborative district team setting.

Details

On-site position at Thomas Middle School and South Middle School
Day shift schedule following the school calendar, Monday through Friday
Full-time schedule preferred, though two part-time candidates may be considered
Part of a district-wide team of eight Occupational Therapists
Supports middle school building-level teams

Requirements

Previous school-based experience required
License required if applicable
CPS fingerprinting and CANTS background checks required prior to start

Additional Information

Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations to determine special education eligibility
Provide MTSS and IEP support to students
Consult with staff and teams to support generalization of skills across school settings
Clearance for background checks may take up to three weeks and must be completed before starting
