Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience to perform CT, X-ray, and C-arm imaging in an acute care hospital setting.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in the Radiology department, CT/X-ray unit
- Single scanner CT department
- Performs XR, CT, and C-arm imaging including surgical cases
- Potential to float to Surgery for C-arm support on cholangiogram or orthopedic cases
- Average volume of 10-15 CT and 10-20 XR studies on swing shift, 15-20 CT and 10-20 XR studies on day shift
- Radiologist coverage in-house until 1700
- Uses Merge PACS and Meditech EMR
- Department equipment includes GE X-ray, Toshiba CT, and Carestream portables
- Full-time day shift, Tuesday-Friday 0600-1630, 10-hour shifts
- No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Oregon Medical Imaging license required
- License required if applicable
- Does not require starting IVs

- Checklist-based department orientation provided
- Black scrubs required; not provided by facility
- Radiation badge preferred but not required at time of submission
