Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring NM or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of ICU experience.

Details

  • 16-bed Intensive Care Unit with mix of ICU, Stepdown, and MS overflow patients
  • Patient ratios of 1:2 for ICU and 1:3-4 for Stepdown patients
  • Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every other weekend
  • Floating to Stepdown and Medical-Surgical units required
  • On-call required, though rarely needed
  • Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Valid driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Scrub color required: Royal Blue
  • At least one Winter holiday coverage required
  • Maximum RTO request of less than 1 week
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local travelers not accepted
  • Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
