Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience on night shift.

Details

• Float Pool unit within the Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, with 36 or 48-hour weeks
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience required
• Must have worked in the ER specialty within the last 3 months
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient population following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and effective care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Holiday RTO requests will not be approved
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
• First-time travelers may be considered
