Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department
- Day shift schedule, 36 or 48 hours per week with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience, within the last 3 months
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior license disciplinary actions permitted
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients, supervising and directing nursing staff while collaborating across disciplines
- Perform patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation duties
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
- RTO limited to 5 days or fewer for consideration
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
