Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure, EPIC experience, and a minimum of 3 years ER experience.
Details
- Work in a busy Emergency Department within an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 36 or 48-hour weekly commitments
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license in California required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Must have recent experience in the ER specialty within the last 3 months
- EPIC experience required and must be noted in employment history
- No prior disciplinary actions on nursing license permitted
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and healing care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Holiday RTO requests will not be approved
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction, as local rates match travel rates
