Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of RRT experience and an active Ohio RRT license for a day shift position at a major health system.

Details

• Respiratory therapy department role within a large health system
• Day shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• May float to other facilities within the health system, including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and Pulmonary Main Campus locations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Active NBRC certification required at time of consideration
• Active BLS certification required at time of consideration
• Active Ohio RRT license required if applicable
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Must be nicotine-free as facility is a smoke-free, nicotine-free environment

Additional Information

• Expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check findings of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, with no exceptions for open cases or license-related issues
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Extensions may be granted for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is typically required
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
