Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy unit position with Neuro Diagnostics support for the NMET team
• Day shift schedule working 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend coverage as needed
• May float to other campus facilities including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, and Lutheran locations
• Expected to work every other holiday

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of consideration
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand
• Active AHA certifications required: ACLS and BLS
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• License required if applicable
• 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty required for Ohio locations
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostic support services
• Work as part of the NMET team providing expansion coverage
• Facility is smoke-free and nicotine-free with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check results will be reviewed by the facility; no license hits accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is typically required
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
