Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Respiratory therapy unit providing neuro-diagnostic coverage for the NMET team
• Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage as needed
• May float to other facility locations as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required
• 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty required for Ohio locations
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of consideration
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• License required if applicable
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, updated annually
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory and neuro-diagnostic services as part of the care team
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Facility is smoke-free and nicotine-free with no exceptions
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility, but no license hits are accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent candidates cannot return to this facility for 1 year from their previous end date
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
