Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CVICU Night Shift position requiring fresh heart and CVICU experience with FL or compact licensure.
Details
- Work in the CVICU unit of a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
- Fresh heart experience required
- Must score 3's or 4's on the cardiovascular section of the ICU skill list
- Epic or Cerner charting experience required
- Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks)
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular patients in the CVICU
- RTO limited to no more than 10 days, with none permitted during the first or last week of the assignment
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates with felony, misdemeanor, DUI, DWI, or controlled substance violations will not be considered
