Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a TN or compact RN license, prior travel experience, and circulating skills.

Details

14-bed Labor & Delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:1-2
Patient population consists of expecting persons
12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
Unit creates the staff schedule
Weekend shifts required
Float to Helping Hands, NICU, and Post Partum as needed
EMR systems used: Cerner and GE Centricity
Surgical scrubs provided

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required on file at time of consideration
Current BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Must be able to circulate

Additional Information

Orientation available only on 11/16, 11/30, or 12/14 with no other start dates offered
No time off approved from 9/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
