Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and RT(R) or RCIS certification.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 procedure rooms and 5 holding beds
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Standard Cath Lab/IR equipment used
• Documentation via Meditech/Mac Lab
• Procedures performed include cardiac catheterizations, device implants, vascular procedures, IR procedures, and special procedures
• Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM schedule
• Weekday and weekend on-call required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year full-time Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required; 2 years preferred
• RT(R) or RCIS certification required, license required if applicable
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required
• Skilled in scrubbing and monitoring cases
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Duties include scrubbing and monitoring cardiac, vascular, and IR procedure cases
• Ceil blue scrub dress code required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
