Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Surgical Services department of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week across 3 days per 12-hour shifts
- On-call requirement of up to 36 hours and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
- Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members and serves as a mentor/preceptor
- Facilitates patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
